“Israel proposed a pilot program to allow Palestinians from the West Bank to fly abroad via Ramon Airport near Eilat on charter flights to Turkey, instead of traveling via the Allenby Bridge crossing to Jordan and flying from Amman.”
Contemporaneous reporting shows Israeli authorities did announce a pilot program for West Bank Palestinians to fly abroad from Ramon Airport on charter flights to Turkey instead of traveling through Jordan and Amman. The claim is carefully worded as a proposal, which matches the evidence. Later delays and route changes affected implementation, not the fact that the plan was proposed.

False 1/10
“Israel is not occupying the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.”
The claim is not supported by the evidence. Authoritative legal and institutional sources, including the ICJ and ICRC, treat the West Bank as occupied and conclude that Gaza also remains occupied for legal purposes because Israel retains decisive forms of effective control despite the 2005 withdrawal. Denying occupation of both territories conflicts with the current mainstream international legal assessment.
