“Before September 11, 2001, the Central Intelligence Agency and the Federal Bureau of Investigation were aware of a specific threat to the United States involving the individuals who carried out the September 11, 2001 attacks.”

The evidence shows only a limited kernel of truth. Before 9/11, the CIA had important information about two future hijackers, but the FBI did not receive key details in time, and official investigations found that intelligence agencies had not identified a specific attack plan involving the 9/11 perpetrators. The claim overstates both the degree of shared CIA-FBI awareness and the specificity of the threat.

“Before September 11, 2001, the Central Intelligence Agency and the Federal Bureau of Investigation knew that individuals involved in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing were taking flying lessons, recruiting people, and conducting surveillance flights, and the agencies did nothing to stop them.”

The evidence does not support this specific allegation. Official investigations found that U.S. agencies had fragmented warnings about al-Qaeda, flight training, and future hijackers, but not documented knowledge that people involved in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing were carrying out those activities before 9/11. The claim merges distinct individuals and events into a single unsupported story.

“The Federal Bureau of Investigation did not investigate Michael Jackson for child molestation.”

The claim is not supported by the evidence. FBI records and multiple credible summaries show the Bureau did investigate allegations involving Michael Jackson, including forensic assistance, witness interviews, and review of a separate 2004 child-abuse allegation. Although local California agencies led the main prosecutions, that does not make the FBI uninvolved or non-investigative.

“The July 13, 2024 assassination attempt on Donald Trump at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, was orchestrated by the United States government or one of its agencies.”

The available evidence does not support the allegation of government orchestration. Official congressional and related investigative records describe a lone shooter and severe Secret Service and interagency failures, but they do not show that the United States government planned or directed the attack. Claims based on withheld documents or poor transparency substitute suspicion for proof.

“The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is currently conducting an investigation at Gene Hackman’s estate in Santa Fe, New Mexico.”

Available evidence does not support any current FBI investigation at Gene Hackman’s Santa Fe estate. Official statements and credible reporting consistently identify the inquiry as a local investigation led by the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office, with related state-level death-investigation functions. Claims of FBI involvement trace back to unverified social-media or sensationalized content, not documented reporting.
