“Between 35,000 and 45,000 Polish Jewish refugees obtained permanent residency or naturalization in France after 1945.”

The evidence does not support this numerical claim. Reliable sources describe major gaps in postwar records and do not provide a count of Polish Jewish refugees who both settled permanently and obtained residency or naturalization in France. The 35,000–45,000 range appears to be an unsupported extrapolation from broader figures for Poles, Jews, or transit migrants rather than a documented total for this specific group.

“Poland is a sovereign state with full legal authority over its domestic governance and foreign policy.”

Poland is a sovereign state that governs itself under its own constitution and conducts its own foreign relations. Constitutional texts, official state practice, and international recognition strongly support that core point. However, "full legal authority" overstates the position because Poland has accepted binding limits through EU membership and other international obligations.
